Terms of our discord server

Like all services we have rules, so please make sure you follow the rules or
your time with us might become limited, on top of our own rules you must
follow discords rules Discord Community Guidelines.

MoreCube Discord Rules.

Breaking any of the rules may result in an instant ban, so be careful, even though we will try and give users chances our staff have the power to just ban you out right depending on the rules you have broken or the actions you do once you have been asked to stop.

    • We ask you not to talk about this topic as the world right now is in a bad place, people in the community might of lost or have someone suffering with this illness so please don't bring this topic up.

  2. Have respect to all members. ID:1
    • Please respect everyone in the same way you would like people to act with you, been rude will make others be rude back, we don't want this to happen, this also means if people are been rude to you, don't return in kind you could also be punished for your part in braking this rude.

  4. Spamming will result in Mute. ID:3
    • If a user starts to spam we will first mute that user, if the user keeps this action up then the user has agreed that they no longer want to be apart of the community.

  5. When asking for help, provide enough information's about your problem and stick to relevant channels. ID:4
    • Providing the correct and as much information about your problem will help us and in the long run yourself, we can't fix or help if you are unable to tell use what you did, the errors and the the thins you have already tried to fix the matter

  6. Don't unnecessarily @ people or do it multiple times. ID:5
    • Pinging users can really upset them, remember discord is a tool what stays on, on both your computer and phone and many people have discord installed on many systems at once so pinging them could create a large disruption to there day.

  7. DM's or friend requests without permission will result in blocking user, If you need help then ask here! ID:6
    • We ask you not to DM or friends request for a few reasons without premission, if staff are able to see you asked then we know the end user can't report you later saying you never asked, we also ask this to keep you and them safe, we don't know who is behind that screen so lets keep safe.

  8. English is the preferred language. ID:7
    • We ask you to use English only within the discord channels, this helps ALL staff to help you as we all can speak English.

  9. No NSFW, racism or other forms of hate speech content, staff have the right to ban you for that! ID:8
    • This is a server for Education and none of this has a place here, we want to make it safe and welcoming for everyone.

  10. Keep mod showcase in #mod-showcase. ID:9
    • Using this channel means your mod will get seen by others, posting them in the wrong place will have them deleted.

  11. Don't DM or ping staff unless rules are being broken. ID:10
    • Staff users have to help a lot of people if there also helpers and they have to keep you safe and the discord running we don't have time for private support sessions also not all staff are helpers and are not here to support the software or mods.

    • We don't let you post adverts for the simple reason we can't garentee your safety.

  13. Do not post links to pirated software (illegal downloads of software that has to be paid for). this will lead to ban. ID:12
    • This is the same reason as above but also we can't support anything illegal, this isn't supported by us, discord or your internet service provider doing illegal actions online is braking the law but also braking the terms of services.

  14. Do not plagiarise (steal) the work of others, this will lead to ban. ID:13
    • There isn't any need to steal anyone's work, people take a long time to create things, if they want you to be able to share there work they will provide means for you to do so, in most cases this will include some kind of licence agreement.

  15. The server is PG13 and we are going to keep it like that so no bad language of any form. ID:14
    • We make it PG13 so parents can be here with there children and learn in safety, this also lets you use these services in schools, collages and public places like libraries or public wifi spots

  16. A staff member is allowed to change your nickname if it is not readable or if it's offensive. ID:15
    • We need to make sure all users are able to read this community and if your username is offensive or isn't readable it isn't a name it's a means to confuse and this can upset people.

  17. Before asking for help, prove that you have tried to solve your problem on your own "Don't expect anyone to do your mod for you!" ID:16
    • We are here to learn and help people learn more, there are many videos and using the software and failing helps you move forward this is how we all learnt and we can't hold your hand, nor do we wont to.

  18. Bullying, Mocking or acting underage will result in ban. ID:17
    • If we believe your underage with your actions then we have no choice but to ban you, this keeps us safe as discord does delete servers that don't follow there rules.

  19. Rude and offensive memes will be deleted immediately. ID:18
